I have been neglecting the blog because we have had non-stop family in town since before Halloween. Honestly - living here in Colorado with no family around is really hard, so when family does visit we don't take it for granted and we enjoy every minute of their visit. It's so hard not to be thinking all the time that we have family here that they only have X many days left and soon they will be leaving and we will be alone again. :(
So my mom(aka Aba) was here with us for 5 weeks when Emily was born and then she went back to El Sal for a month and came back the first day in November with mi Lila (her sis) so that Lila could meet Emily. Mi Lila (my Lila - I have called her "mine" since I could talk she is pretty much my second mom) and my mom were here for 10 days. It was so wonderful having them here. We of course did a ton, ton of shopping, lots and lots of eating and a lot of hanging out. They both have been to my house a ton of times - so we didn't do any sightseeing - which was nice. We just chilled and they enjoyed loving on Emily and the boys!
